Copyright and takedown
Last updated 23 October 2026. This page sets out how to have a listing removed, who to contact, and what happens after you do.
GAMEFAST is a directory. Listings point at games that run on other websites. The PLAY button sends the visitor to that site. We host no game files and copy no game content. If a listing points at something that infringes your rights, tell us and the listing is removed.
How to request a removal
Email [email protected] with the subject line Removal request. A notice needs to include all of the following:
- Your name, and the company you act for if any, with a way to reach you.
- The work you own the rights to, described well enough to identify it.
- The address of each GAMEFAST page you want removed, for example /g/name-of-the-game/. A list is fine.
- A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the rights owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and that you are the rights owner or are authorised to act for them.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
You do not need to use any particular form. A clear email containing those points is enough, and you do not need a lawyer to send one.
What happens next
- We acknowledge the notice.
- The listing is removed or hidden, normally within 3 working days and sooner where the request is unambiguous.
- We keep a record of the removal so the same link cannot be listed again by anyone.
Removing our listing does not remove the game from the site that hosts it. That site is a different operator and we have no control over it. Send your notice there as well if you want the game itself taken down.
If a listing was removed by mistake
Email [email protected] with the page address and why you believe the removal was wrong. If the listing is restored we will tell the person who asked for the removal.
Repeat infringers
Projects that attract more than one substantiated notice are removed from the catalogue and are not re-listed. The record of removals is kept so that a delisted project cannot return under a different listing.

Electronic notice is accepted and preferred. A postal address is available on request for parties who require one.
Other complaints
Broken links, a listing pointing at the wrong game, or a project that has started pushing an installer: use the report route. Those are handled the same way but do not need a formal notice.
